The employee will be responsible for managing information system design projects throughout the development life cycle from initial analysis and design all the way through to the implementation and user acceptance. The ideal candidate for this role will document the requirements and serve as a liaison between the client, project manager, and other technical and functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define the detailed requirements and functions of the features of the HIX system
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws such as PPACA, HIPAA
  • Facilitate meetings with external clients and internal teams
  • Prepare requirement documentation such as User Story, FSD, BRD etc.
  • Work with UI & UX team to define wireframes and visuals reflecting the requirements
  • Travel to client locations to important meetings

Required Qualifications:     

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5 years of experience working on software product(s) as a Business Analyst
  • 5 years of comprehensive and detailed business analysis and requirement documentation skills
  • 5 years of proven analytical and reasoning skills
  • 5 years of demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • 3 years of working with offshore teams located across time zones
  • 3 years of working independently and handle multiple projects
  • 3 years of US Health Care domain experience
  • Proven excellent presentation skills
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Degree in Technology (B. Tech, etc.)
  • Experience with the Affordable Care Act and/or Medicaid systems – MAGI or Non-MAGI/Health Insurance Exchange (HIX)/Integrated Eligibility System (IES)
  • Experience in RFP/Compliance/Competitor/Market analysis

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
