Role: Full Stack Engineer

Description: The Full Stack Engineer will join our rapidly growing engineering team. We are looking for an engineer who is ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. You are ideally a self starter with an ownership mentality, that can understand and execute on new concepts quickly. This position will have a big impact on our growth and could become a leadership role as our team grows.

Base: $60,000USD

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, enhance and maintain very complex Blackthorn products
• Work closely with other engineers including reviewing code developed by others and providing feedback to ensure best practices
• Triage, troubleshoot, analyze and resolve problems quickly and asynchronously
• Work closely with a scrum teams in a distributed work environment
• Learn new concepts and languages with our team
• Design & develop solutions using relational and non-relational databases

What we look for

• 7 years working with Node.js and Typescript designing and implementing REST API's
• 5 years Angular experience required
• 5 years Typescript experience required
• 3 years of NoSQL/MongoDB experience
• 3 years with command-line scripting, network protocols, and encryption and secure exchange of data
• Very efficient with code and tooling
• Design pattern, secure coding, and documentation best practices
• Git, unit and integration testing, and linting
• Use of AI tools to enhance productivity preferred
• 2 NestJS experience preferred
• 2 AWS experience preferred
• Good communication skills
