If selected as a Bookkeeper - Client Onboarding Specialist, you will kick-start the client’s journey toward cleaner accounting and data.

Responsibilities:

What you’ll be doing:

The Bookkeeper - Client Onboarding Specialist is the first point of contact as clients join our service. You’ll be working together with clients and guiding them through changes to their accounting systems and financial reporting processes. (In fact, this role will likely provide you with direct client contact sooner than many other opportunities at this level).
The onboarding process is limited to a few months, so you’ll have a wide exposure to new clients. Each one will bring new challenges to tackle surrounding software integration, information standardization, process implementation, and client training.
Your ability to navigate complicated general ledgers, multi-task multiple onboarding projects efficiently, and communicate effectively is key as you’ll be part of a team of bright accounting professionals. Working together, you’ll develop creative ideas and deliver significant value to our clients.

Qualifications:

What you’ll need for this position:

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Comfort with debits & credits
  • Experience with accrual accounting
  • Exposure to financial reporting (Balance Sheet, Income Statement)
  • Familiarity with sub-ledgers (AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate financial information.

Bonus Assets:

  • Project management software experience
  • Experience within the agricultural industry
  • Experience in client implementation
  • Experience converting financial data to new technology platforms
