As a member of the firms Bioinformatics team, you will work closely with Bioinformatics developers to build and maintain CICD pipelines for DevOps. This professional can work remotely, both during and after COVID. Job Responsibilities AWS Cloud Engineer will build, deploy, automate, manage, and maintain CICD pipelines for our AWS cloud-based backend system Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS backend systems Define systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform Work closely with bioinformatics engineers and software leads to gather and implement requirements for the automation framework As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will enable and support bioinformatics engineers to use the automation framework and infrastructure throughout SDLC Support testing requirements REQUIREMENTS B.S. in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Genetics, Computer Sciences, or a related field with 4 years of experience in software validation and verification Experience with building CICD pipelines for DevOps, using tools such as Gitlab CICD Experience in test automation, test case management tools, and best practices for scalability and maintainability Experience in using version control tools, (e.g., Gitlab) Hands on experience with AWS services, including Lambdas and KMS keys Demonstrated programming and scripting skills in a Linux environment (Python, CC , etc.) Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and work effectively within an agile team Demonstrated ability to innovate Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
